Coconut or Cocos nucifera is a plant that can be used for many various needs. All parts of the coconut tree from the fruit, water to the leaves can be used as raw material for manufacturing products for various processed products as well as consumption materials that have good nutritional value for our bodies.
Basically, coconut grows in areas that have tropical climates, especially in coastal areas, and is scattered in various regions from Southeast Asia to the islands around the Indian and Pacific oceans, so that Indonesia is also one of the countries included in the distribution of coconut plants. Based on research results from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia is a country that has the largest coconut plantation area in the world with an area of 3.88 million hectares and can produce 3.2 million tons of coconut. Coconut tree height ranges from 20 – 40 meters depending on the age of the coconut tree, the older, the taller it will be.
